I installed a 4.2 gig hard drive in my expansion slot (Mac Performa 6400/180...accelerated to G4...running OS9.1...Epson 1270 printer) and it does not show up on my desktop at startup (which is automatic through energy saver function)...when it doesn't and I enter the apple system profiler it is listed but "not mounted"...if I zap the pram with a restart the HD2 does show but I would rather not have to go through that every time I want access to the second drive. I installed something called SCSI probe but it has not solved.
live as if you will die tommorrow...learn as if you will live forever.
