I've had my 40g 3rd Gen for almost 3 months and randomly last night it stopped initializing at certain times on my Quicksilver G4. If I restart the computer with the iPod in the dock it reads the iPod like normal. If I unmount the iPod and then remount it(whether it be an hour or 2 minutes later) the computer does not initialize it and it doesnt come up in iTunes or on my desktop, but the iPod has the Do Not Disconnect screen up. When I plug it into my laptop(500mhz iBook) it initializes and reads without a hitch at any time. I was running 10.3.2 when it started happening last night, so overnight i upgraded to 10.3.3 and the problem is still there. I have the latest version if iPod software and iTunes. Any ideas on what the problem could be?
