I have the M$ wireless optical mouse, the ice one, it comes with 4.1 soft, seems that the intellimouse 5 soft is a pain, I have nothing installed actually, so what I must do? use 4.1, use nothing ... ?

You could also use USB Overdrive to get the same features. Actually, I believe the author of USB Overdrive also wrote the majority of the code for MS inellipoint software.

thanks, just downloaded the intellipoint software, a friend said to me that it works flawless with his MS Intellimouse wireless explorer 2.0

OK, I have Mouse 5.0 installed. But I can not get the smooth scroll thing.
