I just installed and began using my new HP ScanJet 4670... and every time I use it, it creates a file on my Desktop titled "ChassisD.log" with contents such as:
18/03 18:07:28
18/03 18:07:28 inAENumber = 1001 (0x3e9) ' '
So, I called HP to see what was up. According to them, it's "just something that the programmers wrote to keep a log each time you use the scanner." Hey, way to go programmers! How about you do some housekeeping and prevent annoying bugs (not features) like this from showing up. What a joke. Why don't you just be men and say it's a bug. What programmer would code that in?
Is anyone using an HP ScanJet 4670 *not* getting this file created?
