i used to have the ipod jacket taht burton makes, i really loved it. the controls are really glove friendly and i never doubted the security of my ipod in there.

good products, but certainly not cheap.

For sure not cheap....But I like Burtons name and like you mention, I will not be questioning how safe my iPod is going to be

I would really like to get my hands on the backpack though, I wonder when Burton will have them in stock...

Thanks guys

Check the Apple Store, that's mainly where they're being sold. I saw one.. I thought it was ok... but then again, I always think things are "ok" when I want them and I can't afford them. hehe...

Daracle, check out the dealers listed on Burton's website. You enter your region etc. and a list of stores that carry Burton gear is given. Alberta has quite a few.

One of the few perks of living in VT is the fact I am only a short drive from the Burton Factory (and factory store) up in Burlington. I was up there the other week and they have both the jacket & the bag in stock. (along with a bunch of cool '05 gear already on display) While I did'nt ask about availability of the items (they are both way overpriced if you ask me, but when you buy a BMW you get a BMW....). The sales guy said that the team riders love 'em though. Almost all B riders have iPods... Also mentioned was other cool stuff in the works, but no details. I would guess since the clothing is not made in VT, supply is limited even there tho. These days they only make the boards in VT still.
Look on the Burton website to see if you can order direct....

Daracle > Did you happen to ask or find out if any of the stores here in town (Calgary) carry the jacket? My current jacket is falling apart, and I got a nice tax rebate this year, so I'm thinking of splurging for the jacket...

No....Sorry....I didnt think of asking.
BUT...They do have them on Burtons site so a place like the Ski Celler or any of the skatboarding shops should be able to get them in for you

You know what, phone them anyway- I have found that sometimes websites simply aren't reliable.
