Sprint hasn't carried Sony since the big, boxie, ugly things with flip up antenna back in the late 1990's. I'm waiting for the new Treo phone. It's similar to the Treo 600, but it will have Bluetooth!
Love is a 15" AlBook 1.25 with Superdrive...

You can get a T608 on ebay that will work with Sprint. Only 10000 were made and Sprint no longer carries them. Basically, it is the CDMA version of the t610. Making the switch to tmobile because Sprint needs to sell phones with decent connection software. I will miss the unlimited 120kb internet access though.

My Treo 600 works quite well with iSync, but I've read that getting the Palm Desktop software to install under 10.3 is a pain and requires some messing around with permissions and such. If there's an update to the Treo 600 coming out, it's probably worth waiting.

Cingular sells the SE616, didn't see it mentioned above. Look for a new unlimited WIX package from them next week. Great info over at HowardForums.com on everything wireless (I mean *everything*). News from reps and lots end users. If you've got questions, the answer's probably already been posted. (i.e. search before you ask)

I have a T608. Unfortunatly the phone was kind of killed when sony ericsson pulled out of the CDMA market early last year. The result is a buggy phone that is usable but has many annoying features. It works perfectly with isync, however, it will not dial from the address book, nor will it work with sailing clicker. Its java machine is slow, and the timestamp on sms messages is wrong. Drag and drop bluetooth works. Despite its shortcomings, i wouldnt trade it for the world. It works for exactly what I want it to do. Bluetooth connection to sprints high-speed CDMA 1xRTT network with my powerbook, all wireless free.

visit sprintpcsinfo.com for information and forums about the T608

Get any unlocked phone off ebay you want and use it with sprint. The Sony Ericssons work great.

T-Mobile is great in Boston and its immediate subburbs, but spotty elsewhere. The map on the website seems pretty accurate, though. I had a T610 for a while but I'm replacing it with a Z600 tomorrow. It's a nice phone.

Sprint isn't GSM, and very few SE phones work with CDMA.

Doesn't matter, cause he went with T-Mobile anyway

My Treo 600 works great with iSync. There is nothing better than having iCal & Address Book sync'd. Only problem is alarms don't transfer between iCal and Treo 600. I avoid all Palm software except Hotsync.
