Just got it stuck in my head today that I'd like to switch from my clankity clank Apple Pro Keyboard to my smooth Al Powerbook keyboard, but I need a number pad.
I saw a wireless number pad & mini mouse set in Best Buy today, but 1 ) I don't want a dongle and 2) I don't want a mini mouse.
So, does anyone know of such a thing? A bluetooth number pad. Or do I have to spend $250 for this Logitech DiNovo thing?
Thanks.

Don't know but i would LOVE a simple usb keystrip (just give me 5 functions keys or so) and let me program using ikey... this strip would consist of a single row of 5 keys. i would love something like that.
I looked at various number pads and they just take too much space...

i hear ya.
but since i do 99% of my work at home, i can stand a number pad because really i'd be replacing an entire external keyboard.
i'll probably end up getting an Apple BT Keyboard and a BT mouse like the logitech or The Mouse BT when it comes out, but for the sake of argument, has anyone used the Logitech DiNovo (above) with a Mac? If so, what's the verdict?

I just need a separate keypad for my powerbook, whether it's bluetooth or usb. What options are there for mac users?

i did some more research into keypads.
i found there are 2 main categories of USB pad:
-those with full sized keys
-those with mini keys
while the minis tend to be smaller, the keys are about 65% i guess. that wouldn't fly with my gnarley knobs. a man with small hands or a woman would be fine.
also, there are some that double as calculators, but they look clunky.
CompUSA actually has a nice one for $20, that has full sized keys yet is flat and compact. i also liked the look of the belkin.
personally, i think i'm going to save up for the Logitech DiNovo. then i would have bluetooth everything when i felt the need. i plan to get a BT mouse anyway, so there's half the price. they are low as $200. i'm still wondering if anyone has used this with a mac. maybe i'll post a separate thread.
