I leave my computer on and my Apple BT mouse on. Will this drain the batteries faster? If I cover the sensor, I have to go through the preferences and pair it up again in the morning. So i was just wondering what should I do to get the best efficiency for my batteries. I seem to be replacing them every month or less.

I have the Apple BT mouse and it goes to sleep as soon as I put my Powerbook to sleep. Then I just click the mouse to wake both of them up the next day.

Same here. And if I'm packing things up, I just slide the optical eye door close for protection and put it away in my backpack.
