Looking at a Panasonic DMC-FZ1K... Not listed on Apple iPhoto website.
Does anyone have experience using a Panasonic with OS X? Issues?

I have an LC-43. Works like a charm in OS X.

Just got my FZ1 about 3 weeks ago and it works fine with Image Capture (my choice) and iPhoto.

Here it is for $250 free shipping.... I paid $299 for mine at Newegg.com, worth every cent.

Also make sure to get the FZ1-FZ2 firmware upgrade.

You can find info for running the upgrade in the Panasonic forum at ....

Basically load the .bin file on memory card and let camera do its thing when you turn it on in review mode.

Love this little camera for outdoor shooting, the 12X IS lens is wonderful. Leica lens makes all the difference in the world compared to other 2MP cameras out there. Even printing a 8x10 looks great if you use a tripod or get a good sharp handheld exposure. The lens is sharp as a tack. Indoor photography is not this cameras strong suite but is acceptable, but outdoor shooting, zooming in at will is what i bought this for. I have my Olympus C-4040 for my indoor shots etc. The FZ1/2 is just a fun cam because of the lens/zoom.
