Hey,

Looking to get the Targus Wireless Remote Presenter for my upcoming presentation at school next month.

Anyway, this is the "cheapest" option that I could find around. Ofcourse the Logitech one is the best but it costs 6 times more ...

So, will this work ? I'm guessing it should as I see no reason why it shouldnt. Can anybody confirm this as the place I am getting it has no return policy in existence.

Any other suggestions are also welcome.

Thanks !

Just purchased one last night and it works flawlessly on my iBook dual USB 500mgHz G3 running Office 2004 PowerPoint. I was concerned because know where on the packaging or the website did it say it was compatible with Mac OS, just windows...but figuring it was USB and no drivers I was pleasantly surprised...mouse, presentation and laser pointer functions all worked....hopefully it won't fail during my presentation today

Although an old thread, take a look at the Kensington USB remote. Its really nice. The USB dongle slips in to the remote when not in use, so you only have one item to keep track of, not two. It has forward, backward and black screen toggle ("B" key) buttons that function without drivers with both PowerPoint and KeyNote. Also has a red laser diode, is thinner than most others and runs on a slim lithium watch battery.
Much slicker and better looking than the Targus remote and much cheaper than the Logitech or Keyspan remote (though these provide mouse emulation that the Kensington does not).
