Yeah, I bought one off eBay, brand new though. Just a little 32mb one.

I have a question about it though. I plug it into my Powerbook and it mounts two drives, not one. One is called 'FDISK' and one is called 'FDISKSE'. Sometime it will only load 'FDISK'.

These seem to work independantly of each other. When I plug it into a PC, it will only see the FDISKSE files.

Is this normal? Anyone else have something similar? It's annoying me so much, because my girlfriend just got an iBook so I am letting her use it, but she always puts stuff on FDISK, and then can't see it when plugged into a PC.

Advice guys? I am tempted to just buy another, but I want to make sure it isn't on all types. This is a Rambo brand one. Thanks!

Reformat the drive. I bought some generic ones and they had to be erased to give me the full size of the drive. Some companies partition the drives to make some security partition that cant be read without going through password protection. The problem is that most of the programs they write to do this only work on the PC.

The problem should be solved with a re-format, as Capt. Obvious mentioned. Just use Disk Utility to do so (and you'll want to format it in MS-DOS format if you want to be able to plug it into PCs to transfer information).

Okay guys - no joy!

Went into disk utility and see both 'drives' listed down the left hand side, with a little 'drive image' under each one. The computer seriously thinks there are two drives there. I can format one or the other just fine, but I cannot figure out any way to say "Delete the whole ****ing disk and treat it like one big disk"!!!

Uh, Help?!

I had to reformat mine on a PC with the utility that came with the drive, after that I could erase it all I wanted on a Mac.
