I recently purchased an Airport Graphite base station to use with my Powerbook (Bronze) aka-Lombard. I downloaded the Airport software (V1.3.1) and finally figured out how to get the "Airport Admin Utility" to allow me entry to the Airport Setup. However, now I can't figure out how I go about prompting the base station to dial my ISP.
Since Apple didn't see fit to equip the Lombard to handle an Airport card I'm using an Orinco WaveLan Compatable 802.11b card and can find nothing there either that will prompt the base station to dial. (Another thing that may bear on my problem {or not} is that the WaveLan card does not show up under the TCP/IP control panel - should it?)
How does one get this setup to do it's thing and make a connection? Surely there must be a way but damned if I can figure it out.
Am I the only person in America with an Airport, a Lombard and a dial up service and a ? as to how/if it really will work?
Comments, suggestions, pointers, anything welcomed!
