Hello,

Are there any SATA cardbus adapters that could be used in the powerbooks? I've seen some around from places like Addonics or Granite Digital, but they seem to be PC only. Could one of these cards be slipped into a powerbook and just work, or do you need special drivers?

Sonnet makes the PCI-bases Tempo Serial ATA Adapter Card. 2 ports, and by a Mac-supporting company. Looks like $30.

He's asking for Cardbus (PC, formerly known as PCMCIA card). I think fitting a PCI card in a PowerBook would be a little challenging :-D

Does this make sense? How would you power the drive? I'm not aware of any sub-3.5" SATA drives at the moment, and they don't have a nice clean power supply.

I think you want firewire
