Hey Guys....

When you get a iTrip, you have to install the playlist for the different frequencys....
I like to listen to random songs on my iPod in the morning and because it pulls it from the playlists, how do I stop it from playing that one playlist?

You know all those little checkboxes in iTunes, one next to each track? Uncheck them from those songs in the Library. (Random playback, unless you tell it otherwise, plays from the Library, not the playlists!) If you add (and check) those tracks in their own playlist, they'll still be available for use.

I would do that in iTunes....Would that still stop it from playing on my iPod though?

I think so, if you've told the iPod to only sync checked songs.

You'll have to create a second "Library" playlist that includes all songs without "Griffin" in the Artist name. Do your random play from that playlist.
