Good alternative to Palm?

	I have a friend wanting to get rid of his old Palm V, and get something newer, thats NOT Palm. He's on 10.3, and wants to be able to keep all his data working with his newer handheld. He would like it to be color, and have 802.11 capabilites. His main program for it is Now Up To Date, and really wants to keep using that. What are some options? I've heard good stuff about the Pocket PC.
