Mac OS rumors have mentioned an iPod OS update, which seems very likely to me.

Does anyone have any idea what new features will be added?

I would like to be able to assign tracks to any playlist on the go.
A new puzzle game (bantumi or similar) would be good too.

Any ideas?

I noticed that when I use the iTrip I can"t turn off the iPod using the "play" key. I have to press menu and the play again to stop it...
But I don't think Apple will fix that

You can still use the play/pause button to power down the iPod while connected to the iTrip. The iTrip won't power down immediately, but it will after 30 seconds or so.

On topic, I've been waiting for 4/28 before I buy an new iPod. A conference call doesn't sound like there'll be any new stuff.

I'm talking of powering-off the ipod itself

iTunes 4.5

Import WMA Files (Windows)

Along with your AAC and MP3s, you can now import WMA (Windows Media) files (unprotected only).

Wonder if this means you can play and manage WMA files from within iTunes now, or does it mean it will encode the WMA files to AAC/MP3/AIF? Hrmm...
