I'd like to select a Bluetooth Headset that has the widest compatibility for my needs, which include, but are not limited to:[list=1][*]IBM ViaVoice for OS X[*]VoIP from Vonage[*]Xbox Live[/list=1]
Any advice or insights?

XBoxen do not support Bluetooth as far as I know.
Not natively, but I'm assuming it would work with an add-on dongle. “Xboxen”, eh? Is that the official pluralization of “Xbox”?
If Vonage has an OS X app then you should be able to use the headset fine - it is seeen as a normal audio out/in source by apps.
Yeah. Unfortunately, because of regulations, Vonage is not offered in Maine.
