every now and then (2 or 3 times a day) the USB connections on my LCD die. my mouse and keyboard won't work, and anything else plugged into the other usb port stops working, too. the only way to fix it is to unplug the LCD from the computer and plug it back in.
the LCD itself never goes out, just the usb ports.

anyone know what's going on? i tried a search but didn't really come up with anything.

thanks!

I have a USB hub that does this too. From what I could find on the net and talking to the company that makes my hub, it seems to be that the power will overload and the hub will shutdown and I have to unplug it and replug it to get it back up. Maybe your USB ports are doing the same on your LCD. You might want to try finding different ports for your USB devices if you have any more besides on the LCD. If not I guess you'll just have to keep doing the unplug/reconnect method.

bump because this still hasn't been resolved. the only thing plugged into the monitor is the keyboard and mouse.
i'll try plugging in a self-powered hub and see if that does anything.

thanks in advance.
