I was working on a PC today and swapped my monitor from my Mac to the PC, and was using it for a while. When the PC rebooted once, the monitor just went grey (and the PC went about it's business). I rebooted the PC thinking it might have been the problem. The video displayed, but it was washed out and light, and slightly rotated. I thought the monitor had somehow forgotten its settings due to something the PC was doing (during troubleshooting), so I rotated the video proper. Now that the PC mess is over, I plug it back into my Mac and the colors are still all washed out! It's as if the brightness on the display is too high, but I've already got it as low as it can go. Is there any way to reset a monitor to its factory settings?

Oh, also...when I hit the power button on the display, the power LED blinks green, then goes off. The monitor doesn't come on. If I hit it again, it comes on. That's weird...

Sounds like a bad monitor (Power/Analog/Video board). Might want to look into getting a new one.

You might have the wrong colorsync profile installed on your mac. Make sure you try out a couple of different ones.

For some odd reason, it says that that display can't be calibrated. I think I used to be...
I tried repairing my CS profiles, and that didn't help.

Hmmm..
