Is MyTV2Go a worthwhile product, or are there better alternatives?

I like the idea of watching cable TV on my Mac, doing some light video capture, and listening to FM radio all for under $100, but perhaps there's something better (like a FireWire device instead of USB).

firewire or usb versions available. I have the USB one and it works quite well for my needs. Theres tons of threads on this subject, doa search
