On my ibook G4, running 10.3.2, I can't get my Samsung ML1710 to print at all.

I've installed Samsung's driver, Gimp-Print, reinstalled, deleted, regurgitated, used Print Center Repair, you name it - I've tried it.
If I try to test print a page I hear the Samsung 'whirr' for a second then the printer dialog box shows up (and no document every prints.)

The message I get is "GenericClass: Waiting for Device"www.datinghell.com/images/print.jpg

The same Samsung runs without problem on my G4 Quicksilver tower, which also runs Mac 10.3.2.

If you could walk me through the remedy for this problem, I'd really appreciate it.

GenericClass? Are you sure you have the right driver installed? Try deleting the current Samsung driver, and go back to the Samsung website and download the latest driver.
