I'm thinking of buying the Epson Stylus Photo R200. It looks like an adequate color printer and I'm attracted to the CD/DVD printing feature. The price is right, too.

However... those inks are very expensive. The product literature says using compatible brand inks will void the warranty.

What's your experience, are they ok? Do you have favorite ink vendors?

I'm also interested in your opinion of the printer and open to other recommendations.
