will a Dell 15" LCD work with a mac

I have a chance to aquire a Dell 15" LCD for pretty cheap.
I would like to use this as a second monitor hooked up to my sawtooth G4 500 Mhz with a Radeon 8500 card.
Does anyone know if this display would work? Thanks
