HELP!

I had to reinstall Panther on my laptop and since I was having some unknown system errors I did a clean install. Before I did this I was told it would be relatively easy to reinstall my music collection from my 3g iPod back to my hard drive.

I installed PodUtil 2.0 after the clean install but when I plugged the iPod in iTunes still launched. In the process it gave me some window saying something to the effect that to restore my library back to this computer click OK.
Thinking it was going to transfer my music back to the hard drive I said OK.

It seems to have wiped my iPod clean as there is no longer any files on the iPod drive. I know it only erased the file fork resources and the data is still there for the time being so I was wondering if there is anything I can do to get my music back and then transfer it back to my hard drive.

norton unerase to get the files back (hopefully) just drop them on the PB. you may have to look in invisible directories to find them. get either cocktail or tinkertool for this.

good luck.!
