I was wondering if a first-generation iPod 10GB can iSync the Address Book and iCal calendars. Less pressing, but still of note, is if first-gens can play some of the games available on the newer ones.

I've looked around for information about this, but I only see the newest iPod software updates, which don't seem to give me enough information.

I'm specifically wondering if it works with Apple's iSync, but I suppose if there are third-party things that do it, I'd be interested in that, too.

Sorry if this has been covered to death already.

Thanks

To answer you questions.

- Yes, all generations of the iPod can sync addresses and calanders using iSync. I've done it many times when I had my 5GB iPod.

- Bricks is the only game available for iPod's that don't have a dock connector. Apple never released a firmware update that included the newer games found on the 3rd gen iPods and minis.

Slick shoes?!! Are you crazy?!!

[nitpick]

If it's a 10GB, then it's really a second-generation. The first-gens were 5GB only and had a mechanical scroll-wheel.

[/nitpick]
