If the printer does specifically say it supports MacOS, can you hook up the printer via a network to circumvent compatibility issues? The printer I'm referring to is the Minolta 2300DL.
Am I ready for the Mac? I want a 60G iPod!!!!!

That's a GDI printer, which means that the drivers do the processing (not the printer), so you have to have the necessary drivers. It's not a connectivity problem.

GDI printers absolutely do not work on Macs. Heck, they barely work on Windows sometimes.
