Are there any reasons why I should go for the Apple Airport base station rather than the Buffalo Airstation. Both support Appletalk (essential) and the Buffalo has a 4 port switch as opposed to the Airport's single port. The price of the Buffalo Airsttaion is £59, as opposed to the Apple Airport at £149.

Thanks

I would say if you need one with a 4 port swtich then go with the Buffalo. If you don't need the switch or just want the Apple brand hardware go with the Apple Base Station.

Thaks for the advice. It's they way I was tending to go. My only concern was that the Apple offered some functionality the I may regret not having.

I'd also like to know if the Buffalo Air Station http://www.buffalotech.com/wireless/...n/WHR3G54.html is worth buying.

I want my Mac wired to the router but the other computers in the house connected wirelessly. Would this be a good buy?
