Hi,

Just bought a printer (Canon i560) and was attempting to set it up. Someone at work opened it to check it (i've been away) and somehow the CD has gone missing.

I tried downloading the file off the Canon website; the US site couldn't even find the file, the Australian website listed a package which I installed but hasn't helped.

If I open up the Print Center it finds the printer under USB but says "Driver not installed"

If anyone knows how to fix this, or has a copy of the appropriate driver file I'd be greatly indebted!

I got your driver. I downloaded it from Canon's web site. Try http://www.canonusa.com then click downloads and choose Printer and then you model and get the driver for Mac OS X. If you can't get let me know I downloaded it and I can upload to my web site for you to download.

thanks for the quick response.

i must have clicked somewhere else on the canon website (I think I went through via the MacOS X link, not the printer specific link) because I got a file not found from before.

It downloaded this time, I just installed it... but same problem. Print center is saying "no driver installed"

Check the USB and power cables and turn the printer on. Open Print Center and remove the printer. Now add the printer by clicking Add then choosing USB and your printer and hopefully Mac OS X will find the driver this time.
