Okay, so where do I find an internal drive with "blade connectors" as it describes in my G5 manual? I've hunted high and low, but to no avail. Am I missing something?

No, the "S" stands for "Serial," which is the type of internal drive the G5 uses. It happens to use a different type of connector (blade) than regular ATA drives (pin). Any Serial/SATA drive you buy should have the proper blade connecter.
Go to your nearest CompUSA - they're selling 250 GB serial drives this week for only $159.
