Planning on purchasing a lacie firewire drive for final cut project storage and workspace. Will I notice the difference between a 2mb buffer and 8mb buffer in a firewire drive? I will be using it with firewire 400 for now, but most likely upgrade to a pb with firewire 800 later.. will the buffer make a difference to either of these configurations?

Thanks
