Hello.

I'm thinking about placing a Hi-Val 4x Dual Format DVD+/-RW Drive into a firewire enclosure that I have. Does anyone know if by doing this I can use the burner on my powerbook to burn DVDs?

I know the Hi-Val isn't technically supported by Apple but I figured I might be able to get around this by placing it in an external firewire enclosure.

Any thoughts?

60GB 7200rpm Hard Drive
