Hi everyone,
I lost my cell phone last week. No big loss, since it was a really old phone and I wanted to upgrade anyway. I use Verizon, and I'd really like a phone that will synch with iSync, but I really don't know much about cell phones, so I'd appreciate some suggestions.
As I am shopping for phones and checking with Apple's iSync site, I'm having trouble finding most of the supported phones for sale with either Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile or Cingular. Where are these phones actually supported? Can I use them with any carrier, they just don't sell them themselves?
Is Apple's list maybe out of date? If this is the case, is there a site somewhere with a list of phones that actually are supported, either officially or not?
Another problem I'm seeming to have is that Verizon doesn't seem to support any Bluetooth phones.
I'm sort of considering a Motorola v60 color (assuming that Verizon really does support it), but I don't want to buy a relatively old phone if at WWDC there's going to be an iSync update with a flood of new supported phones.
Does anyone have any suggestions or insight on the matter?
Thanks!
Phil.
