Still comtemplating which printer to buy...

1. I went to see R210 and R310 the other day. The salesperson tells me there is no difference in print quality between R210 and R310. The only differnces are R310 can read flash card, and can print on CD/DVD. Is that all true?

2. I just realised R800 has just released. Has anyone seen the quality/had any experience or R800, compare with R310 (and other printers from Canon)? Worth the extra dollars to get R800 instead of R310??

3. Has anyone has experience to get R210/R310/R800 shared on a network, using Airport extreme or other 3rd party USB printer server?

4. What about comparison between R800 and stylus photo 2100/2200?

I just feel like there is no such printer that can do everything, without breaking the bank

The R210 and R310 are identical in quality and BOTH can print directly to CD/DVD -assuming you have the appropriate type of disc- only printable surfaces can be used- ordinary CDs etc smudge and do not print properly - so do not expect to use it on old discs if they are not the right type.
I notice you are in Australia- if by chance you are in Adelaide check out Inkjet City they have a great range of print samples on display - so you can compare printers and different types of paper too
I purchased a R210 from them - currently the bargain of the year in Epson land- having said that I am searching for a reason that my Powerbook will not print to it!!!I have used it on my 20" iMac since I got it with no problems but the Powerbook is playing silly games on me -- that's the way it goes sometimes ;-)

good luck - sorry I cannot recall lthe info on the 800 - Inkjet are on the internet if you are not local (Adelaide) -I have no connection with them other than a satisfied customer

Yes, actually that is what the people at Inkjet city told me (R210 vs R310 are the same print quality). I just want to see if any users can confirm or otherwise. I guess they are probably the only shop in Adelaide who is expert on ink jet printer?!?!
