IBM has this nice USB Keyboard but only has Linux drivers (aside from Windows and OS/2). Would I be able to use it with a Powerbook using the Linux drivers or would I need a program like USB Overdrive, etc.?

Keyboard driver? Never installed one. All the regular keys should just show up, but you could need something like USB Overdrive if it has some funky custom stuff for quick launches and such.
OS X: Where software installation doesn't require wizards with shields.
