Im having problems adding a second disc. I have a G4 quicksilver 876mhz with standard 40 GB disk. Today, I bought a ExcelStor disk with 80 GB but it shows only 31 GB. What is happening? What can I do to make it work?

There is a jumper on many hds that limit their capacities to below 32 GB so that they can be used with old ATA controllers. I would check the jumper settings (you can probably find them right next to the power and ATA connector).
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
