If I put this in an external case will it work http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProduc...012&depa=1 or would you recommend another drive. Any recomendations for a case would be helpful to.

Do i have to flash it on windows xp or can i do it on my ibook?

Can you put a link to instructions for flashing please. If it isnt against the rules. I wouldnt see why it would be since it is something that you do at your own risk and doesnt involve priracy.

It's on this forum . The original version of the firmware had to be done in DOS but there's a new version that lets you do it in Windows. It also make the drive region free, I'm waiting to be able to buy DL media before I try it though.

I got it today. I would recommend it to anyone and recommend buying from newegg. Free shipping and I got three days after ordering. Not even three whole days. Look when this post started.
