I need a new monitor and am wanting an LCD. I need one with a fast pixel refresh rate (for gaming), and a good brightness (as my office gets somewhat sunny at times).
If you're a hard core gamer, you'll probably not be happy with an LCD. You'll still see some 'ghosting' as the refresh rates on affordable monitors still isn't as good as a CRT.
That said, I'm not a hardcore gamer and have been very happy with this Samsung.
