I work at a museum and would like to install a webcam on the ceiling of a gallery before a Tibetan sand mandala is built so that i can stream still and/or video images to the website. I noticed that Linksys and D-Link both offer 802.11b wireless webcams but I'm not sure how Mac compatible the software is. Anyone have any experience with that?

Alternately, it would be great if i could set up an iSight wirelessly. Or would Airport Express, with its USB printer sharing ability be able to handle a webcam?

help?

Here's the links to the wireless webcams:

USB printer port is for USB printers No use for a webcam.. So you need either a wireless cam, or, a network cam, which uses ethernet. But will still need some long wires for that of course. However, it should be possible to access them via a wireless access point device also.
The worst thing about having a failing memory is..... no, it's gone.

I use the D-Link 1000W. It works great. I needed a PC only once, when I wanted to upgrade the firmware on the webcam. Other than that, I've had nearly flawless operation from it. You'll need to connect to it 1st via ethernet, to make initial settings. Once that's done, you can log into it wirelessly through it's IP (which can be from DHCP or static). If you need any specific help configuring yours, feel free to post back. D-Link is not the best for clear directions and Mac issues.
I'm hoping to connect mine to an APXP soon, when they start shipping. This will allow me to make some network changes I have wanted for a while. Of course, if this works, any ethernet web cam would work. You wouldn't need the wireless capabilities of the 1000W.
