I've been syncing my palm to iCal as long as iSync has existed. Now that I've added an ipod to the mix, it's broken.
I synced the iPod once, and it worked. I had not synced the palm again since then (over a week ago), and am now finding that I can't sync either device.
When I try to sync either device (or both at the same time), the address book gets synced fine (if enabled), but when it tries to do the calendar, I get a sync failed error from iSync, half the time with no details, and have the time with this:
Thursday, June 24, 2004 7:35 PM
INTERNAL ERROR: unhandled AOS error (duplicate keys rejected and listed).
iSync's internal database has become corrupted. It is impossible to continue syncing. The database has been reset, but you must now re-synchronize all of your devices. Please try syncing again.
Does anyone know what this means? I've tried trashing iSync prefs and backups, but all that did was make it forget settings, didn't fix the problem. I've tried various combinations of settings, enabling one device and not the other. Nothing has gotten the calendar to sync.
I'll happily stop syncing one device or the other, if they can't coexist, but at the moment I can't sync either. FWIW: palm V w/ OS 3.5.3, iPod v2.2, iSync 1.4 (132), iCal 1.5.2 (637)
