I recently purchased the wireless apple bluetooth mouse for my powerbook, it works really great but after turning off the mouse and/or powerbook they dont seem to be able to automatically find each other. Without me going to set up a new device.
Discoverable is turned on.
Is this process needed to be doen everytime i want to use the mouse or is there something im missing.
(Bear with me im a relative newbie to the mac side of things)

In the Bluetooth Preference Pane (under System Preferences/Bluetooth/Devices), while the mouse is paired and connected, highlight the name of the mouse on the list and click Add To Favorites. This should keep the mouse from needing to be re-paired each time its turned off. Works for my BlueTake BT500 on my PB and my Belkin BT mouse on my G4.

not that this helps but I don't have this problem with my microsoft bluetooth mouse. If the above fix hasn't worked perhaps you have a hardware problem?
