Happy 4th to everyone in the States.

Has anyone tried putting a faster drive into a Lacie Enclosure? I bought my Lacie burner a few years ago which has an 8/4/32 drive and would like to put something faster in it. I tried putting a Verbatim CD-R into the enclosure, but wasn't detected by the system, at which point I just put it into my PC.

Does Lacie's bridgeboard allow only certain models or brands of CD-R's to work with their enlclosure? If you've had any luck putting a faster drive in a Lacie enclosure, please let me know what's worked for you and what hasn't. Thanks.
