Its not the 24th of July yet, so the ipod mini hasn't quite made it.
I'm quite impressed with the price.

Exactly - most 1.5 Gb players over here cost that much.

It also made it over here to Canada, too. Now what confuses me is this: does it come with headphones? Or do you have to purchase those separately?? Because when I go through Apple's store, there's a few options to buy headphones, and I don't see why unless they're just "better" headphones. What's the score with the headphones?

I imagine the headphones it comes with are functional (like most walkmans), the other headphones would be the 'ear canal' type that are supposed to give much better sound - that's why they come with several different 'sleeves' for different sized ears

That's GREAT news. Now my neighbors to the north and across the Atlantic can share in my frustration. I ordered my girlfriend a green mini a month ago for her birthday. Well....her birthday was last week and I'm still waiting! Order them early kids....you'll be waiting for awhile!

Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

£179 is a great price! Pretty much the same as the US one I was worried it would be £199. Maybe this means Apple will offer more competitive UK prices in the future given the current state of the economy.

Hands down - I would never have thought that Apple makes this PriceThing™ right.
The price of 237,80- € for students is awsome.
