what kind of battery life are you getting?

I bought my wife one and I swear she is only getting around a week per new battery change

anyone having similar problems?

That's about right if you leave the mouse turned on 24/7. You'll get quite a bit more life out of it if you remember to turn it off when you're not using it. That's very inconvenient though.
