Hey everyone,
I have wanted to buy an Ipod for quite some time now, and I am ready to spend the cash I feel.
I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about new generation Ipods coming out soon?

My only reservation buying one right now, is that incase a new generatio none comes out in the new few months.

Maybe someone has heard any news on when the next Ipod Might come out?

Thanks,
Jason Winn

Rumor says that a new iPod will be unveiled when the iTunes countdown reaches 100,000,000 songs...I would wait until then atleast.

although not 100% reliable of course because apple rarely talks about updates before they announce them, this is a fairly decent resource for tracking how long it's been since an update and what past update cycles have been: http://buyersguide.macrumors.com/

If you're in the market for a new powerbook or ibook, it's an excellent time to buy one b/c of the current cram&jam promo. ($200 mail in rebate if purchasing a notebook and ipod together)

After rebate, my 15gb iPod only cost me about 70 bucks

Rumor was wrong !

I'd still wait.
I think that the next iPod revision will come out in fall.
That's what I'm waiting for, iPod G4...

I just ordered a new 15 GB to replace my old 10GB 2G thanks to the new promo. Net cost = $70 and will do everything I need.
