I have been thinking about this since the new display were introduced. I like the new ones but I had no problem buying an old Cinema Display and using it as a second monitor for the time being. Apple is selling them at the refurb price only $300 below the cost of a new style Cinema Display brand new. Doesn't seem like a bargin to me for old technology.
I know Apple is exspinsive but I fely they would come down a little farther than this. I guess not. I now am looking to just get a new 23" one and use that for my primary display.
BTW, I am going to buy using an EDU discount and the refurb are no cheaper that way but end up beiung only a little over $100 less than the new ones at that point. Seems to me Apple needs to look at their pricing because that is way too close for an old style as a refurb to the new ones that are out.
