As I was watching the movie Agent Cody Banks 2 (w/ kid brother, not for me) I noticed that he faked playing his clarinett by connecting his 2 satellite JBL Creature speakers, no subwoofer, into the line out port on the dock of the ipod. Is this possible w/o the subwoofer, becuase that would make it so nice for traveling. Thanks

I just tried it with the left satellite (the one without a volume control). Sound comes out but of course you will get no bass out of it, so this would be the least ideal option. Also it does not matter if you play through line out port or the head phone jack turned all the way up, you will not get very much sound out it. Hope this helps.
