My Linksys Wireless router/hub just bit the dust so I need some new Wifi hardware. I have 2 machines - 1 mac, 1pc - in the same room as my router that are currently hardwired to the router. I also have an iBook and another PC that are wifi equipped.

I'd like to get an airport base station and an AP Express that would go in the family room to boost the signal there. How can I support the two machines that are currently wired to the router without putting wifi cards in them. Can I get a cheap hub and plug the 2 computers and the Airport into that?

Suggestions welcome.

Yes. The AP Extreme has two Ethernet ports. The WAN port connects to you cable or DSL modem and the LAN port connects to the hub. It would go like this:

cable/DSL --> AirPort Extreme --> hub --> wired computers
