I just called a couple of apple stores in the bay area and it looks like no ipods available for sale in the stores until wednesday. it ain't so bad, but driving without my line-in connected ipod is gonna be tough for the next two days!

I was at the L.A. Apple store in The Grove yesterday and a rude guy behind the counter, wearing thick-rimmed glasses, just barked "We have no new iPods." When I then inquired about iPod Mini availability, he instructed me to go to the site and order it and refused to be of any further help.

Nice touch, Apple!
