Well, I picked up my 4G 20gig iPod today, brought it home, and played around with it for awhile.

I know this particularr question has been on alot of people's minds. "Will my new iPod work with my old dock?"

Well in short, my answer is "Yes, yes it will."

There is a small amount of gap between the back of the iPod and the back of the dock, but it still fits snug. Charging and syncing via firewire to my G5 both worked seemlessly, which really suprised me, as Apple is claiming that the 3G dock is incomptible with the 4G iPod.
