Hi all,

Just checkin',
Is it me or do we need an Forum dedicated to the iPod on MacNN?
I cant stress enough how MUCH I appreciate the work that you do guys, but I saw that Apple sells as many iPods as other machines...
I know, there is the iPodlounge.com, but...

PS: And I know that this message has been posted a few times too!

I've thought the same thing but I just keep ending up back at ipodlounge.com, it's a heck of a site and maintained well.

I too want an iPod forum here at MacNN. Before you guys get ready to post, I realize that the iPod is a peripheral, but MacNN could've easily made a notebook forum instead of both a Powerbook and an iBook forum. I know it's just a peripheral but you have to admit it's one of those peripherals that changes the way people live and seeing how popular they are now-a-days, you can't help but want it's own forum. Regardless of the above, I don't see MacNN putting one up.
NOW YOU SEE ME! 2.4 MBP and 2.0 MBP (running ubuntu)

This has been discussed so many times... ugh, and the answer is no. No iPod forum.

yep, I know it wont come "any time soon", but I know now I am not the only one that is missing it!... It would unload the "Peripherals Forum" a bit and would make sense to me, as a "Printer" one would a "digital camera" etc. In fact the "Peripherals" might need those "sub sections"... ? I know, the search is working fine, but the different sections could bev of some help.
And again thank you MacNN for your help to the Mac comunity!

G.

Final answer. There is no reason to clutter the forum with yet another area.
